Hello Everyone,

On Tues Oct 20th there will be a MANDATORY Wrestling meeting at lunch time in Coach Aldingers Room. Please make sure your boys attend this meeting we will be going over some things for this up coming season! ( I have sent them a text msg already if I have there cell number)

Our 1st fundraiser will be handed out that day also, we will be starting with Butter Braids, we are starting early so we have them back in time for Thanksgiving this year.. Each boy NEEDS to sell at least 25 to make this fundraiser a success.

We will be having a Mandatory Parents meeting Oct 28th in the South Cafeteria at 6:30 for all boys & Parents, the Athletic Director will take for a few minutes than myself & Coach Aldinger will be going over things you need to be aware for this up coming year, we have a few changes this year and we need to make sure everyone is aware and understands things. So please mark your calenders and plan on attending.

Meridian High Wrestler Wins Second Title

Junior wrestler Tanner Hall won his second championship in four days at the Pan-American Cadet Championships on Monday in Managua, Nicaragua. After claiming the Greco-Roman title at 220 pounds on Friday, Hall returned the mat on Monday and claimed gold in freestyle. In July, Hall won the 189-pound Greco-Roman championship at the 2009 ASICS/Vaughan Junior and Cadet National Championships in Fargo, N.D. He won the 189-pound 5A state title in February and placed fifth in Greco-Roman and second in freestyle at the FILA Cadet Nationals in April.

Here is a great way to have your kids or yourself if you were a Warrior at one time to leave your “Legacy” at Meridian High… you can put your name and your kids names on these… Maybe Grandma or Grandpa would like to buy one on behalf of your Warrior!

Right now we are running a special that you can get the small brick for $75.00 and the large on for $150.00.

Ok everyone the date is set for: Aug 29th from 8:30am till 3:30ish at both Dirty Harry Car Wash Locations, Jericho/Cherry Lane and the one on Ustick Rd

They have been nice enough to give us both locations for double the money!!! (I hope). I will need at least 2-3 Parents at each location, they must be supervised at all times, which is probably a good thing for them.. lol So I need some volunteers please??? I’ve had very good response from the boys so I’m also hoping to have at least 8-10 boys at each location! Each location will need to just bring towels for dying they will supply us with the tokens to use the wash and the boys will hand wash & dry each car in a self services bay!! They will also explain to the boys the morning of the event.

Please tell all your family and friends about our event and to please help a good group of boys raise money and come get a car wash!

We still have hamburgers left over from our Summer Picnic, so I’m hoping the parents that are at each location have a little BBQ to bring so the boys can have lunch around noon time. I except the boys to stay all day unless they have made prior arrangements with me.

Remember this fundraiser is to raise money for championship singlets!!! and I know we will have lots of champs this year so I’m thinking we will need lots of singlets!!!
